ACAT Luxembourg - Topography of Human Rights
Action des Chrétiens pour l'Abolition de la Torture (ACAT) in Luxembourg is an organisation that has been promoting and defending human rights since 1985, with a particular focus on the fight against torture and inhuman or degrading treatment. It is part of the worldwide network of ACATs (FIACAT) present in 30 countries on 3 continents. Through its projects and initiatives, ACAT actively contributes to the promotion of human rights in Luxembourg. The organisation engages in concrete actions to raise public awareness. Topography of Human Rights is a tourist tour, in person or with an audio guide, that takes you through 17 stations in the city of Luxembourg. The stops represent symbolic places. They tell the story of how human rights have shaped Luxembourg in the past and in the present. The aim of the project led by ACAT Luxembourg, with the support of the Intercultural Living Together Division of the Ministry for the Family, Solidarity, Living Together and Reception, is to make this tour accessible to as many people as possible in Luxembourg. To this end, versions in eight languages and in simplified language and for the visually impaired are planned.

The Blood Transfusion Centre – Croix-Rouge luxembourgeoise
Donating blood saves lives. We or our loved ones can all, one day, need a blood transfusion. You can play an active role in saving lives or improving the lives of sick or injured people by donating blood. Become a blood donor! The Luxembourg Red Cross has been taking care of blood collection for several decades. Its mission is to make the country self-sufficient, and to enable the health system to treat all patients who need a blood transfusion or a blood product. And this mission could not be accomplished without the generosity of several thousand volunteer donors.

The CSL represents employees at the legislative level, provides information on economic, social, and legislative developments, and supports continuous training through the Luxembourg Lifelong Learning Center (LLLC).

KJT - National helpline for children and young people
KJT is the national children's helpline that can be contacted by telephone, online or chat. It is a counselling service for children, young people, parents and people in contact with or responsible for young people. Advice is anonymous, confidential and free of charge. KJT offers every child and young person the opportunity to be heard. KJT supports and counsels’ young people and all those involved in their everyday concerns, questions, fears and problems, as well as in times of crisis. No one should be left alone. Any child or young person can speak directly to specially trained counsellors. This simple, straightforward counselling service is available to everyone, including parents, people in contact with children, and educational and psychological professionals. During the consultation, we develop personalized solutions for each person who contacts us and help them to implement them. If necessary, we can also refer them to other agencies for further advice.
